As night falls

It is difficult to name the colour of this work precisely, because it is built from so many layers of tones I love : indigo, purple, black, slate, anthracite, white and even brown.

It is a blue that feels calm, protective, and peaceful.

It is a colour that emerges only in those fleeting, quiet moments, when sky touches sea or land, or perhaps when the mind turns inner self.
