Kaika - 開花

As a Japanese person, cherry blossom season holds a special place in my heart. It's a time when the whole country comes alive with anticipation. The blossoms are fleeting— often swept away by sudden spring winds or rain-but maybe that's what makes them even more precious. We learn to cherish every stage, from the moment buds begin to form on bare branches, to the soft pink petals covering the ground. A quiet reminder of how brief and fragile beauty can be.

"Kaika" means "the beginning of blooming"-that gentle moment when buds are just starting to open. I'm especially drawn to that early stage, when everything feels calm, full of quiet promise.
